Focus Group Training with Sean Lim
The successful warrior is the average man, with laser-like focus. —Bruce Lee
Throughout the week, I conduct Focus Group Training for my circle of mentees.
If you are coachable, respectful of the Art and willing to train consistently, we welcome you to join our tribe.
Focus Group Training

Jeet Kune Do is a niche and very specialized art.
It is designed for the 1 in every 100’000.
Within this niche itself, there is an even smaller niche — these are the legitimate practitioners that train in the art as part of their lifestyles and go the distance.
These are the “full-time” practitioners that we want on our team.
It is a difficult process having to invest the time and energy to coach “part-timers”.
However, if you are truly serious about the art, able to consistently show up and RESPECT your training, we want you to train with us.
Walk on!
Curriculum

In order to understand Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do, we must first accept that our founder experienced “stages” of progression. They are:
Traditional Wing Chun ➵ Jun Fan Gung Fu ➵ Jeet Kune Do
While I have foundation and expertise in all three stages, I specialize exclusively in teaching “Final Stage” Jeet Kune Do. The core components are:
✅ Dynamic Mobility & Preparation
✅ Rapid Delivery & Recovery
✅ Mass-accelerated & Non-telegraphic Movement
✅ The Kinetic Chain
✅ The Centerline
✅ The Engagement Continuum
✅ Disengaged Trapping
✅ Space-time Mastery
✅ The Void

The SLJKD Methodology
My approach to training in Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do consists of four pillars:
Clarity
At any point in time, you will always have clarity, direction and purpose that empowers every step of your training. You will be trained to be independent and self-sufficient as a martial artist.
Discipline
I will constantly and progressively push you to arrive at your maximum potential — physically, mentally and “emotionally”. You will experience significant breakthroughs through your training.
Longetivity
I always take the recovery-first approach; I place a huge emphasis on mobility, compensation and recovery to ensure that we can push ourselves to the fullest without ever jeopardizing our health and well-being.
Unification
Personal Mastery is the goal; the practice of martial arts is merely the vessel to develop our consciousness in other to “get there”. Eventually, we must unify our expression and master ourselves.

Disclaimer
WARNING: I may not accept you as a student.
Training in Jeet Kune Do is a serious and long-term commitment.
It is not an exotic distraction for the weekend.
I am looking for students that are willing to learn, focus and train hard; not casual practitioners.
The only way for us to achieve true growth and transformative results is to work closely and consistently together.
Halfway or “casual” efforts benefit nobody, and are a waste of time!
Therefore, if you intend to practice Jeet Kune Do “part-time”, do NOT apply.
